Rules, controls and help for Scorpion Solitaire

A small practice goal

For a calm first round, focus on one decision. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.

The purpose of your moves

Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Use another round to revisit a decision. A clear plan starts with the current position.

Making your moves

  1. Move a face-up card with its tail onto the next higher same-suit rank. Kings fill empty columns.
  2. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
  3. Complete same-suit king-to-ace runs to clear them from the tableau.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Using the playing area

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer. Use the rule sheet as a reference.

An example to follow

The trailing cards may be unordered, but the destination suit and rank must match. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.

An important reminder

Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Use another round to revisit a decision.
